Frequency

For Land Mobile Radios (LMRs) frequency pertains to the location of the center of a channel of operation in the radio spectrum, measured in Megahertz (MHz). A receive (one-way) or receive and transmit (two-way) path (see also: frequency band). LMR related frequencies audible to the human ear include Conventional Signaling tones in the 15 Hz to 20,000 Hertz (Hz) range.
